Job Responsibility:

We are seeking a Roofing Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting with various tasks and projects from ground level to high roof level, including installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on various types of buildings. This is a physically demanding role that requires the use of hand and power tools and also working with our own and hired in cherry pickers, so the ability to work at height is necessary. If you enjoy working with your hands and wish to learn new skills, we encourage you to apply. No experience necessary, however it would be beneficial.

Immediate start.

Responsibilities:- Assist with the setup and clean-up of works- Operate hand and power tools to complete works- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas- Carry out repairs and maintenance to residential and commercial buildings- Repair and replace damaged or worn-out building and roofing materials- Use hand tools and power tools and work from cherry pickers to complete roofing tasks- Remove debris and clean working areas after completing jobs

Requirements:- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing, bending, and kneeling- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills- Ability to work as part of a team

- Must have driving licence

Job Type: Full-time

Starting pay: £14.00 per hour but to increase with skill level

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
