Job Responsibility:
We're looking for a Corporate Social Value Apprentice to join our Kier Places team based in Heathrow, West London. Working towards a Level 4 Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Practitioner apprenticeship
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.
Location: Heathrow, West London
Hours:40hrs per week
Salary:£20,800 per annum
How does an apprenticeship work?
As a Social Value Apprentice you'll have the opportunity to gain practical experience whilst you study towards a level 4 qualification with RHG Consult.
Being responsible for supporting the delivery of the Kier Places CSR & Sustainability strategy on our Heathrow contract specifically and with ongoing projects on new developments.
Assisting in collecting and reporting on key Social Value and Sustainability Performance indicators in line with the Kier Building for a Sustainable World and project specific sustainability indicators
Your day to day will include:
- Building relationships with the wider Kier team to get them on board with Social Value Delivery
- Support with maintaining and updating databases and trackers including internal social value tracker, Thrive! Heathrow reports and Kier Sustainability Scorecard.
- Engage in research for social value and sustainability innovations on the project.
- Organising meetings with clear agendas on how the Social Value requirements for the particular contracts will be achieved
- Providing proactive communications internally and externally to enhance the service and projects we deliver
- Supporting career events in schools and be a part of creating resources as well as co-ordinate volunteer events
- Working closely with our communications team to produce case studies and good news stories
