Job Responsibility:

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Window Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a experienced background in fitting windows and doors, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of products. The successful applicant will possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install and fit windows and doors in residential properties.
• Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fitting.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation.
• Ensure all installations are plumb, level, and secure.
• Repair or replace damaged window frames or fittings as required.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Window Fitter or in a similar role is essential.
• Experience in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment relevant to the trade.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to fabricate solutions on-site as needed.
• A background in carpentry or construction is beneficial but not essential.
