A swimming support worker for wheelchair user.
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled male support worker to provide dedicated support to our client who is a wheelchair user with swimming pool accessibility so that he can safely move around the pool.
Our client is an experienced swimmer, swimming has had such a positive impact on his physical health.
This role requires individuals who are patient, empathetic, and experienced in working with individuals with physical disabilities.
You should be a motivated, enthusiastic and positive individual to help support our client to reach his full potential.
Duties- Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities or special needs- Provide hands-on assistance with personal care, mobility support.
– Help individuals develop and maintain independent living skills- Support individuals in participating in community activities and social events- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times- Document and report any changes in behavior or health status to appropriate personnel
Skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively as part of a team- Patience and empathy when working with individuals with disabilities or special needs- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to policies and procedures- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of individuals
