Meridian Technical Services, part of a global group with 18 sites worldwide, is seeking a confident and experienced Sales & Logistics Administrator to join our expanding team. Specializing in fire suppression cylinders, our busy and friendly factory in Erith operates with a mix of office staff, workshop technicians, and drivers.
In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting day-to-day operations, liaising with customers and suppliers, and coordinating our vehicle fleet to ensure a smooth and efficient service across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Prepare and provide accurate customer quotations, follow up on leads, and relay technical details to the operations team.✅ Convert quotations into sales orders and generate job packs for workshop supervisors.✅ Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and other platforms.✅ Maintain a strong working knowledge of fire suppression industry products and services.✅ Process import/export licenses for transporting controlled materials.✅ Oversee fleet logistics, including scheduling company vehicle deliveries and collections.✅ Manage vehicle maintenance, record mileage, and coordinate repairs with external suppliers.✅ Conduct six-monthly license checks for employees operating company vehicles.✅ Maintain organized electronic records, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.✅ Optimise office systems, offering suggestions for efficiency improvements.✅ Maintain office inventory and anticipate supply needs.
What We're Looking For:
➜ A detail-oriented and proactive administrator with strong organizational skills.➜ Experience in sales support, logistics, or technical services.➜ Familiarity with fleet coordination and vehicle maintenance is a plus.➜ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including drivers and technicians.
