Job Responsibility:
Job Purpose/ Summary
This role has two primary purposes;
1. Management of the front of house hotel team who will always provide the highest quality of guest service standard with the aim to exceed expectations, whether by operations or administration
2. Maximise accommodation revenue streams by developing, implementing, monitoring & optimizing revenue, sales & marketing activities that increase footfall and profitable use of resort facilities.
You will assist the Sales & Marketing Manager in the daily managing of bedroom inventory to maximise revenue and also guest expectations. You will also assist the development of the reception team in aspects relating to reservations, including training.
Overseeing and ensuring that effective management and control of revenue and billing is achieved throughout the operation especially in room reservations. In this role you will be responsible for dealing with a range of enquiries. The main function for this role is to ensure all details and requirements are fully completed to the customer's satisfaction and clearly communicated to the sales/ operations team and to maximise the revenue capture concerning the selling of all individual reservations & group bookings.
You will support in developing and executing of the marketing of packages and promotions in conjunction with the Sales & Marketing Manager and aim to have an immediate and positive impact on the figures.

The Candidate (You!).
· Demonstrate passion & enthusiasm for hospitality with a self-driven hands on attitude and approach
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, point of sale systems, and financial reporting
· Knowledge of ‘hotel' up-sales techniques and business etiquette and practices
· Speak English and communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
· Relate to the public in a warm, friendly and professional manner
· Work & promote a positive team environment, however, also to be to work alone at times & be proactive
· Excellent written and oral communications with strong interpersonal skills
· Confident, clear and effective decision maker
· Identify and assess sales opportunities with sound judgment skills and commercial awareness
· Analytical and logical approach to problem solving
· Skills in planning, prioritising, organising and methodical by nature
· Adaptable to changing situations/ scenarios
· Self-motivated, driven and determined
· Possess a hard working dedicated attitude with a flexible approach to working hours.
· Position requires strong attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form, and the ability to bend, lift, and be standing or walking all day
· Provide high quality of customer service standards, aiming or exceed expectations at all times
· Previous experience of Rezlynx preferred but not essential
