All our meat is smoked in our American smoker and all our dishes are made from fresh products. We would like someone with good energy and a can do attitude. Experience in a fast past restaurant is necessary.

Kitchen Assistant duties and responsibilities

• Supporting the Chef in basic food preparation like cutting ingredients, peeling and washing food items (knife skills desirable)
• Cleaning and sterilising countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks
• Cleaning the entire kitchen once it is closed to ensure it is ready for the next service
• Maintaining the food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators, including recording temperature checks
• Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment like cookers, pots and food mixers
• Help give ideas for new recipes as we encourage all kitchen staff to get creative with a special each week

We are open Wednesday to Sunday and we can offer around 40hours a week with the occasional Friday or Sunday off.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 48 per week
