Duties:
- Answering phone calls and taking messages
- General office duties and office management
- Stock management with factory manager
- Ordering stock from multiple suppliers
- Sourcing multiple prices for stock to ensure best price paid
- Forecasting delivery & production schedules and planning production with factory manager and director
- Booking deliveries with haulage companies.
- Issuing production drawings to factory
- General material take off from drawings
- Timber & material sales
- Logging all new enquiries, printing off drawings and setting up folder
- Organising deliveries
- Managing technicians and engineers for upcoming projects to ensure working drawings are received in time for production
- Organising and scheduling in deliveries for contracts managers
Requirements:
- Prior experience in an office setting or similar role is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
