Payroll & Benefits Administrator
As a key member of the Payroll and Benefits team within Finance, this role plays a crucial part in delivering a professional, first-class administrative service to the business. You will provide comprehensive support to ensure the efficient and accurate delivery of total compensation and any adjustments for over 1,600 co-workers while ensuring compliance with current legislation. Additionally, you will manage co-worker benefit schemes, ensuring entitlements and obligations are clearly communicated.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll, HR, and Finance Systems
Accurately input and maintain information in Workday and Finance systems.
- Provide accurate and timely management reports.
- Conduct data integrity checks and cleansing as required.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
Collect and prepare payroll information efficiently and on time each month.
- Accurately input variable payroll data, both manually and via uploads.
- Liaise with the Co-worker Services team to ensure all new starters, leavers, and payroll changes are processed in the correct payroll month.
- Share responsibility for managing the Payroll Inbox.
- Coordinate with managed payroll providers for processing five small monthly overseas payrolls (Dubai, Ireland, Singapore, Australia, and South Africa).
- Act as the first point of contact for co-workers and line managers, ensuring timely resolution of payroll queries.
- Support the Payroll and Benefits Manager as required.
- Ensure full compliance with current legislation and company obligations.
Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing, statutory requirements, deductions, and payments.
- Workday payroll experience is essential.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and maintain accuracy.
- Highly organised, detail-conscious, and methodical.
- Confidentiality and integrity are crucial.
