CAHSS- School of Social and Political Science
Full-time: 35 hours per week
Fixed-term: 12 months (until August 2024)
The Opportunity:
You will support the organisation, management and operation of the School's finance-related business processes; support the development, implementation and operation of financial systems and approval processes; and facilitate the operation of School budgets.
This post is a maternity cover, fixed term for 12 months from 26 August 2024.
This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns or requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- A relevant vocational qualification and relevant work experience OR school education to Standard Grade/National 5 (or equivalent) and relevant work experience.
- Secretarial and/or administration experience in an office environment
- Proven experience of working effectively in a team
- Ability to plan, prioritise, take initiative and proactively find solutions, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent numeracy skills
