Role Purpose
Eficode is helping to shape the future of software development, focusing on DevOps, Cloud, Agile, and Enterprise Service Management. As a Field Marketing Marketing for our UK market, this is your opportunity to take the next step in your career and have a key role in our talented international marketing team.
You will be responsible for the marketing planning and execution in the UK. You will define the marketing plan together with the managing directors to develop and execute our marketing strategy aimed at specific audiences based on global messaging.
You will also have a central role in our international marketing team. You will be personally reviewing available content from our experts and public speakers, and enhancing Eficode's thought-leadership content to ensure it is effective for UK audiences. You also work with our growth team to constantly improve our paid advertising.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage, plan, and execute local marketing activities with the management and sales teams in the UK
- Identify, plan, and attend events, such as seminars, conferences, and webinars
- Develop and localise relevant content such as blogs, webpages, guides, speeches, and sales presentations in close collaboration with our subject-matter experts
- Identify suitable media opportunities and work with our media agency partners to pitch thought-leading stories to the media
- Actively maintain and improve our existing content with other marketers
- Track, measure and maintain local marketing OKRs part of the local country OKR
Essential Skills/Experience
- 5+ years of marketing experience with deeper skills in copywriting or field marketing, ideally within the tech industry
- A solid understanding of (or experience within) B2B marketing for UK markets
- Demonstrated experience in copywriting and content writing
- Project management skills and a collaborative mindset to coordinate marketing activities and collaborate with subject-matter experts
- Some understanding of software development to create content with our experts
- A good understanding of inbound marketing and marketing automation
Understanding of local market requirements, trends, and buying behaviour to develop effective marketing plans
Desired Skills/Experience
- Experience from, or interest in, the tech industry is considered a great advantage
- Fluency in other major European languages is a big plus, but not needed
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, technology, business, or another relevant field
- Originality, outgoing attitude, or curious mind
- Self-initiative and project management capabilities
- Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines, often with several projects

Location
UK-based hybrid-working with regular visits to our Southampton office.
