Job Description: Our client is seeking an IT Service Delivery Director that will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of IT services to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of IT service management principles.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT service delivery strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Service Level Management: Define, monitor, and report on service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure that services meet or exceed agreed-upon levels of performance:
- Service Design: Designing new IT services and improving existing ones to meet business requirements and customer needs.
- Service Transition: Managing the transition of new or changed services into operation, ensuring minimal disruption to the business.
- Service Operation: Overseeing the day-to-day delivery and support of IT services, including incident management, problem management, and service desk operations.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of IT services while optimizing costs.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure quality of service and value for money.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve IT service delivery processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT service delivery, ensuring business continuity and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their IT service needs and priorities.
- Performance Management: Establish performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of IT service delivery and drive continuous improvement.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT service delivery budget, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and financial objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in IT service delivery management, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework and IT service management best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into IT service delivery strategies.
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
- Proven track record of driving process improvement and delivering results in a complex IT environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or Six Sigma are desirable.
