We are excited to invite Cost Manager applications to join our team in in the delivery of expert project, programme and portfolio support to UK Nuclear Waste Services (NWS), part of the UK's Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA).

KBR coordinate work across the Geological Disposal Facility program of work within NWS, including project management, communication and community engagement support, technical design, and digital and transformation strategy development.

We are a trusted delivery partner to clients in the nuclear energy sector. Enthusiastic teams work together across disciplines — including organizational transformation and integration, systems engineering, and program management — to deliver full life cycle solutions from concept through to operations and decommissioning.

The Cost Manager will provide day-to-day implementation, delivery and support to KBR and NWS PMO through the production, implementation, maintenance and management of cost management deliverables across Planning, Cost, Estimating, Risk, Performance Reporting, Document Control and Change Control functions and disciplines.

What We Need

We are looking for sound knowledge of major project engineering, procurement and construction work processes. You will have comprehensive knowledge of Cost Control techniques to interrogate and proactively produce, develop and manage outputs.

We also need to see:

  • An ability to integrate with PMO, Project Controls, Programme Management, Project Management Teams and Executive stakeholders.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including report writing and presentation skills.

  • An aptitude for solving complex and extensive problems and challenges creatively.

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Exemplar people skills.

This position is remote with occasional travel to the client site in Oxford.
