WSP is looking for a Digital Project Director to join our industry-leading Intelligent Infrastructure team. We provide technical professional services to transport clients throughout the UK and overseas.

We provide consultancy and engineering services to clients throughout the UK and overseas. YOUR TEAM

  • This role sits within the Intelligent Infrastructure business and will contribute to our systems engineering, digital and technology infrastructure and design capability. Our team provides roadside infrastructure design, specification , assurance and solution guidance to a range of clients. We require an experienced Project Director with proven track record of successful delivery of projects and consultancy services in this space.

YOUR ROLE

  • You will be responsible for the delivery of project management services to internal and external clients and bringing exemplar market leadership and knowledge to lead the delivery of projects on time, to the quality required, and within the allocated budget, and will act as the primary client interface.
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships and communication with clients, stakeholders, colleagues, technical specialist , project teams, and internal staff at all levels;
  • Delivers reports, presentations, project documentation and project management documentation including project status reports, quality management plans and other financial control documents;
  • Foster a spirit of enthusiasm , collaboration and client focus;
  • To maximise growth and cross selling opportunities through the delivery of excellence to the client
  • Provide leadership to a team of technical staff delivering systems projects involving consultancy, engineering and design services with the aim of enhancing the performance of transportation networks through the application of technology.
  • Direct the development and deployment of project control and management methodologies to support both proposals and project delivery;
  • In conjunction with colleagues in other business units, contribute to the WSP-wide goal of maximising the value of our technical and managerial knowledge base.
  • Take ownership to ensure that delivery is achieved in accordance with WSP's management systems including Health and Safety, project, commercial and risk management.

WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE

  • Undergraduate Degree, or relevant experience.
  • Relevant Health and Safety experience and qualifications
  • Relevant Project Management qualification (for example APMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner, AgilePM, or ITIL Foundation)
  • Experience of having managed multi-disciplinary, complex technology projects and project teams, at various stages of the project lifecycle, to achieve successful delivery.
  • Experience working with clients and customers and excellent communications skills.
