Job Responsibility:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Social Media and Marketing Manager to oversee and execute marketing strategies for our Education Contract Catering company, Dessert Brand, and Hospitality arm.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for foodservice marketing, possess strong multi-brand experience, and demonstrate an ability to manage multiple projects across diverse sectors.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across different sectors within the food and hospitality industries.

With the acquisition of other companies on the horizon, we are looking for an experienced individual who will be central to network of partner companies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Marketing for Education Contract Catering:

  • Brand Development: Develop and maintain the marketing strategy for the Education Contract Catering division, aligning with business objectives and goals.
  • Client Acquisition & Retention: Create marketing campaigns that attract new educational clients (schools, colleges, universities) while strengthening relationships with current clients.
  • Market Research: Analyse trends within the education sector, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for growth and product development.
  • Content Creation: Develop educational, engaging content including case studies, blog posts, brochures, newsletters, and presentations that showcase the company's services and success stories.
  • Partnerships & Sponsorships: Coordinate sponsorships, partnerships, and events relevant to education institutions to enhance brand visibility.
  • SEO & SEM: Implement Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) strategies for the Education division's online presence.

2. Marketing Strategy for Dessert Brand:

  • Brand Positioning: Develop and execute a clear and compelling marketing plan for a very well-known Dessert Brand, focusing on both product promotion and brand awareness.
  • Product Launches & Promotions: Lead product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotions to drive sales and engagement with the target audience.
  • Social media & Digital Marketing: Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy, engaging with dessert lovers across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
  • Influencer & Blogger Engagement: Identify and collaborate with relevant food influencers, bloggers, and media outlets to increase brand recognition.
  • Customer Engagement: Drive customer engagement strategies, focusing on online and offline channels, to build a community of loyal brand advocates.

3. Hospitality Marketing (Catering & Events):

  • Brand Marketing: Develop and execute marketing initiatives for the Hospitality company, including event catering, venue services, and bespoke offerings.
  • Event Marketing: Plan and manage marketing for corporate events, weddings, private functions, and public catering events to enhance brand visibility and bookings.
  • Website & Online Presence: Oversee the creation of an engaging online presence for the Hospitality division, ensuring the website is up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with the brand.
  • CRM & Email Marketing: Create and manage customer relationship management (CRM) campaigns, using email marketing to engage and retain customers for events, catering services, and special offers.

4. Cross-Brand Collaboration:

  • Integrated Campaigns: Develop cross-functional campaigns that promote the Education Contract Catering company, Dessert Brand, and Hospitality arm together, leveraging synergies between the brands to maximize impact.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with the sales team, culinary team, operations, and external agencies to ensure marketing campaigns are aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all marketing materials across the three brands maintain consistency in messaging, tone, and visuals.

5. Budget Management & Reporting:

  • Marketing Budget: Develop and manage marketing budgets for each division, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns, analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) and ROI for each initiative.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvements and future campaigns.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, ideally within the foodservice or hospitality.
  • Marketing Strategy: Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies for multiple brands, particularly in the contract catering and food industries.
  • Digital Marketing: Expertise in digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, PPC, and content marketing.
  • Creativity & Innovation: Ability to think creatively and develop unique, compelling campaigns that engage target audiences.
  • Project Management: Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Brand Development: Experience in growing and developing brands, both in terms of market positioning and customer engagement.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content and present ideas clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and use it to inform marketing decisions.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to achieve marketing goals.
  • Hospitality Expertise: Experience in marketing for the hospitality or events sector is a plus.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, social media platforms, content management systems (CMS), and marketing automation tools.
