Job Description

Managers of Technology Consulting are responsible for ensuring that the team of Technology Consultants and Data Analysts are acting as true advisors to clients on various types of SI and consulting projects and/or operations with clients. This process involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders, project teams and subject matter experts (SME's) providing leadership and holistic views into cross-business and functional solutions. This role will maintain a team of 2-10 data analysts, tech consultants, and data analyst leads (The “Config and Analytics” Team), performing people management, performance management, and leadership functions.

This role is responsible for the procedures, processes, and team operations regarding best practices for configuring technology solutions for business use, analytics, reporting, and data management. This includes end-to-end implementation of technology partners in our portfolio, building of standard reports, managing report requests, completing integration-specific config, and collecting/managing/loading worker data.

Additionally, the Manager of Technology Consulting will be responsible for assisting with pre-sales and sales engineering activities. This can include RFP/RFI responses, verbal presentations, and in-person presentations to complete deals. This will also include assisting in transitioning from sales to project phases and advising leadership on capacity management for the team. This role is end-to-end responsible for building standards and procedures for different types of technology deployments. Critically, the QWA business is in a crucial development phase, which requires all new leaders in the organization to be able to think and act independently. Our business is requiring all managers and above to be true leaders, and own their area of the business, making decisions and acting quickly to resolve problems. As a consulting organization leader, expectations are high for quick results. Responsibilities

Config and Analytics has a core role to play in deployment technology to our clients. It is critical this team has industry leading standards on Technology implementation. This role leads that effort. Engagement goals with the team include leadership and execution coverage across multiple areas:

  • Team Leadership
  • Thought Leadership
  • Product Governance
  • Pre-Sales and Sales Engineering Activities
  • Team Planning, Capacity Management
  • Assisting with managing relationships with client accounts The Manager of Architecture Consulting functions within the QWA's practices and:
  • Provides technical and project leadership on complex end-to-end enterprise implementations, expansion opportunities and operational program efficiencies
  • Leads teams in best practice for translation of requirements from business process into practical CRD documents that define configuration, analytics, and data
  • Deep Expertise with the standard technologies utilized in our engagements and ability to communicate that experience to team members, advising internal and external teams on deep technology capability
  • Understand and disseminate features and functions of technologies as releases occur, including translating new features into potential new uses
  • Provides pre-sales technical support including RFx responses, presenting at BD pitches, conducting solution design, and reviewing contracts as needed for technical and invoicing requirements
  • Support partnerships and participate in periodic QBRs with partners on performance of technology itself and its intersection with our practice
  • Manages the team of tech consultants and data analysts, providing leadership, people, and performance management.
  • Leads learning, training, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Works with other managers/practice leaders on cross-practices projects/initiatives.
  • Work with practice leadership on broad initiatives and feed in on product development and improvement
  • Manage client escalations and issues with active projects
  • Ability to operate for periods without leadership guidance and ability to make decisions and operate independently
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Multi-National experience preferred
  • Expert levels of knowledge of SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, and/or VNDLY are required
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Required Skills

  • Expert proficiency in creating effective documents that translate business requirements into technical requirements, and executing on those requirements to build a client product
  • Expert knowledge of VMS/CRM/ATS Technologies, specializing in SAP Fieldglass, VNDLY, Phenom People, iCIMS, SmartRecruiters, and other platforms are a plus, and
  • Expert knowledge of configuration of those platforms, very in-depth understanding of how the tools function, and the partners' standard user of the technologies
  • Expert consulting, negotiating, communicating, consensus building, influencing, presentation and facilitation skills with both internal and external stakeholders of all levels
  • Expert innovator with the ability to think beyond established standards and processes
  • Expert-level knowledge and experience applying current and emerging technology solutions and trends to solve for complex business problems
  • Working knowledge of various consulting/project methodologies, including Agile PM, Design Thinking Methodology, and Test Automation
  • Basic to moderate understanding of coding languages & mathematical logic
  • Moderate understanding of transmission and file encryption
  • Analytical skills to perform complex large-scale data analysis and provide insights to clients and internal teams
  • Exceptional Technical leadership experience extending to small teams
  • Technical Sales experience including writing RFPs/RFIs, and performing verbal presentations on QWA products
  • Moderate understanding of contract structure and standards for QWA
  • Expert-level ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately to all levels and audiences, including client senior leadership
  • Thorough knowledge of process modelling techniques and protocols
  • Expert-level knowledge of the staffing industry, HR practices, and payroll and accounting processes
  • People management and performance management standards and practices
  • Motivational skills to keep team operating at a high capacity and highly engaged with our business
  • Basic understanding of capacity management
  • Ability to manage senior client relationships up to and including C-Suite staff
  • Expert communication skills, including at least a basic knowledge of practice-standard change management methodologies
  • Independent decision-making skills
