About the team
The Worldpay Data Centre team is a global team of passionate and dedicated professionals. What you will be doing
Reporting the Director of Global Data Centers, you will lead the UK based Data Centre team with staff and technical management responsibilities. You will also be keeping your skills sharp as a contributor with the team onsite with projects and ongoing DC work as part of the team
Management responsibilities of the UK based Data Centre staff
Uphold and improve Data Centre Standards, Operating metrics, and capacity reporting
PCI standards experience and adherence as well as ITAD processes
Maintain a close and collaborative relationship with the Data Centre colocation providers
Work closely with other members of the Infrastructure organization regularly
Ensure smooth project delivery through full lifecycle management
What you bring:
5+ years of demonstrated experience managing both Staff and Enterprise Data Centres
Attention to detail resulting in stability and predictability of the environment
Keen grasp of Data Centre enabling technology such as power, cooling, cabling, and resiliency
Strong ServiceNow, DCIM and Oracle Financial toolsets
Excellent documentation and organizational skills
Ability to straddle the technical demands as they relate to the business and customers
Reporting and trending of both DC capacity as well as financials on a monthly basis
Ensure that monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory requirements are met
Added bonus if you have:
Compute, Network or Storage technology and administration skills
Structured cabling design and implementation
Experience working with Corporate Physical Security teams
Disaster Recovery and contingency planning
Project / program management experience
