Job Responsibility:

Duties

• Research and investigate news stories, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Write clear, engaging articles for print and digital platforms.
• Edit video content using Adobe Premiere and other tools within the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Manage social media accounts to promote stories and engage with the audience.
• Collaborate with editors and other journalists to develop story ideas and themes.
• Conduct interviews with sources to gather information for articles.
• Translate content as needed for bilingual audiences, ensuring cultural sensitivity and accuracy.
• Stay updated on current events and trends in journalism to inform reporting.

Requirements

• Proven experience in journalism or a related field is essential.
• Proficiency in social media management to enhance audience engagement.
• Strong skills in video editing, particularly with Adobe Premiere and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
