Relief Removal Crew Member: Activities incl. Driving, Customer Service, Packing, Moving & Clearing.
Ad-hoc/Part-time: This is an operational support role, providing additional ad-hoc staffing for larger moves, busy periods, holidays and sickness cover. The role can be flexible and will suit local people looking for part-time work, up to a few shifts a week (variable), around their other commitments. We operate Monday through Friday, sometimes on Saturdays, and never on Sundays. There may be opportunities for a move to a full time position in time for the right person.
Pay: Up to £600 per week (base salary of £8.60 - £12ph (dependent on skills/experience) + performance bonuses, tips and discounts
Shifts: Up to 10 hrs (sometimes with overtime)

Note: The job starts and ends at our operations hub in Cheddar.
What you will be doing:
- Impressing customers with exceptional service and a great attitude
- Driving vans and Luton vans to residential homes and businesses to conduct removals and the clearing of unwanted items
- Following professional training and wearing the gear we issue to you (uniform, gloves, and other PPE where needed)
- You'll pack, carry, load, remove, and deliver items carefully and safely on behalf of our customers. You will sort disposal items to reuse, recycle, or donate them to avoid our customers' impact on landfill where possible.
- You'll deliver first-class service, going the extra mile and offering additional removals and clearance services to our customers
- Sometimes, we have to wait for keys, so we may need to work later to ensure our customer is moved into their new property
- You'll work proactively to keep your team on schedule and support each other.
- You'll work paperlessly, using iPhones and iPads to help deliver our exceptional service. Therefore, being comfortable with technology is essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- You will have a great attitude to work, be reliable, well-mannered, hardworking, with a can-do approach
- Should hold a clean driving licence with 7+ years of experience and no pending convictions. (Not required in some instances)
- Be able to work full days, i.e. up to 10 hrs (sometimes longer)
- Not afraid of hard physical work and challenge.
- Be comfortable with change; some jobs throw up unexpected challenges, and as a growing business, we need flexible team members able to offer solutions and go the extra mile where needed
- Able to lift and carry up to 25Kg repeatedly (removal items include sofas, appliances and large furniture at times), though we do have sack trucks, dollies and carry straps to help
- You must have a clean standard DBS check (formerly Criminal Records Bureau check) with no unspent convictions—we will organise this during your probation period.
- We are looking for people with previous experience driving, labouring, customer services, logistics, hospitality, fitness, customer-facing roles. We are willing to train happy, hard working people!
