Job Responsibility:

To apply for this position, you must have a Veterinary Care Assistant Level 2 diploma or equivalent to meet the application criteria.

We are looking for a motivated and friendly individual who has a strong passion for animal and client care. The right candidate must enjoy working as part of a team, but must also be confident enough to work alone when required, getting stuck in where ever you are needed so experience is essential.

The role will be responsible for supporting the veterinary practice team and ensuring the wellbeing of patients. The right candidate will be expected to maintain a high standard of support throughout all aspects of clinical practice. This will include cleaning, general patient care, reception work and assisting veterinary staff throughout the working day.

· 3-month fixed term contract but potential for this to be extended.

· 30 to 40 hour week which will include 1:4 Saturdays. Shifts are either 8am - 6pm or 8.30am - 6.30pm between Monday and Friday and 8am-4pm on Saturdays.

· No OOH, Bank Holidays or Sunday shifts to cover.

We are a small animal practice with three branches in Poynton, Woodley and Cheadle Hulme.
