talkSPORT is the world's biggest sports radio station. From World Cups and European Championships to the Premier League and the Champions League, through to Test cricket and world class boxing, the talkSPORT network is at the heart of the world's major sporting events.

Your role: Reporting into the D Day to day you will: irector of Video and Social Media, We are seeking a talented and transformative Video Lead to manage our On Platform video team at talkSPORT. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing video content on both websites and apps, being able to develop a strategy for growth and lead a team to create best in class content on owned and operated platforms.

  • Develop and implement a growth strategy for on platform video for talkSPORT, helping us drive significant amounts of video views across talkSPORT.com and the talkSPORT app.
  • Lead and manage a team of video editors, ensuring high-quality output and efficient workflows, booking freelancers and managing a rota around major sporting events.

  • Collaborate across departments, working closely with radio programming teams, social media and marketing, to create content that feeds into our wider business strategy

  • Be able to film and produce your own content, as then edit it to a high level on Adobe Premiere Pro and similar video editing programmes.

  • Be comfortable analysing data and creating performance reports, to optimise content and report wider performance into the wider business

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, including AI, and best practices in video production and digital media

What we're looking for from you:

  • Proven experience managing sports content, ideally as a Video Lead, Content Editor, Senior Video Producer or similar in a fast-paced media environment
  • Have experience managing video content on platform, including websites and apps, ideally for a publisher or broadcaster

  • Extensive knowledge of video production processes, including pre-production, filming, editing and post-production

  • Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and familiarity with motion graphics (e.g., After Effects).

  • Excellent storytelling skills and a keen eye for visual composition and detail.

  • Be data focused, able to bring a skilled and analytical eye to production of content

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team
