RB STEELE LTDFUNERAL ARRANGER PART TIMEWe are an independent family funeral director offering a caring, sensitive and professional service to all our clients, adhering to high standards within the industry.We currently have a vacancy within the company for a part-time funeral arranger position and the successful applicant will be based at RB STEELE LTD, 5 Ballot Road, Irvine KA12 0HW.Duties include:Liaising with grieving families to arrange funerals for loved ones with empathy and compassion including ordering flowers, arranging clergy, booking cemetery and cremation service times and requesting music choices at crematoriumsGeneral Administration and respond to telephone, email and personal enquiriesEscorting families to chapel of rest and present during the viewing if requiredPoint of contact and supportive figure for bereaved families until handing over to funeral director on day of funeral, then assisting families with any requirements after the funeral has been completed.Essential Requirements:Attention to detail, communicating effectively with a range of people in person and remotelyPresentable at all times, acting with professional conduct and empathyComfortable coming into contact with deceased for family chapel of rest visitsBeing open and comfortable in the funeral parlour/office as most of the time you will be only colleague in branch.Details:Funeral Service experience not essential as training will be offered but candidates with experience would be preferentialFull UK driving licence preferred but not essentialFlexible to cover sickness and holiday cover to main branch colleaguesMonday to Friday 9.00am -1.00pm (20 hours per week)28 days per annum holiday including statutory daysSalary meets National Minimum Wage
