As a Senior Business Administrator, you will learn about the service the team provides and how it makes a difference to people's lives. Within this role you can make a real difference to young people's lives by being well organised and having a good eye for detail. The main part of this role will be to provide financial and business administration support to the Business Support Officer within Adoption Support. As part of your daily tasks, you will be required to use and manage financial spreadsheets to track payments. This role will also require you to be able to accurately input data into computerised departmental systems and databases. You will be required to process, retrieve, analyse and cleanse data as necessary. The role will also include: Investigating and analysing operational budget queries and making recommendations as appropriate. Overseeing local financial data systems to ensure they are complete and accurate. Providing prompt, accurate and easy-to-use local financial information as required to managers and BSD colleagues. Supporting colleagues to identify the budgetary aspects of operational decisions. Helping to manage the Advice Hub service: booking appointments, managing the booking system and helping to direct queries to the relevant service/departments. We are looking for candidates who: Can use spreadsheets to track and monitor spend Can accurately input data into databases and spreadsheets, including processing, retrieving and cleansing data as necessary. Can provide business administration support to the Business Support Lead and Adoption Support Managers Can manage the administration around service contracts Can undertake and continuously improve administrative duties. Can manage a busy email inbox and have good email management skills Can establish, maintain and monitor all paper and electronic filing systems, including establishment of new files and creation of documents such as spreadsheets. Are confident in the use of Word, Excel and other Office programmes. Are able to communicate effectively with key stakeholders such as service providers and families.
