We are looking for a Laboratory Administrator to join our Business Delivery team.
Title: Laboratory Administrator - Clinical Support
Salary:£29,280 per annum
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
Hours: 35 per week (full-time)
Location: Hybrid (4 days on-site), with laboratory in Hampstead, London
Job Summary
We are looking for a Laboratory Administrator on a fixed term contract to cover for maternity leave. You will primarily support a team of Clinical Scientists who are responsible for authorising clinical results and reporting those results back to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare sensitive clinical reports.
- Coordinate the team through email inbox management, creation of rotas, and appropriate prioritisation of workloads.
- Monitor and track progression of samples across the Lab in order to meet agreed turnaround times.
- Prepare invoices and liaise with Finance.
Essential Attributes
- Proven organisational skills in a similar role.
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Proven attention to detail.
- Experience of effective time management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A scientific background is desirable.
