Job Responsibility:
An exciting opportunity has risen for a dynamic individual with experience in radiography or nuclear medicine to join our enthusiastic Radiology Research team within the Radiology Care Group, at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will play a key role in coordinating research training, maintaining research documentation, transferring anonymised images and assisting Investigators with data entry. There is opportunity to engage with commercial and non-commercial stakeholders to set up and deliver exciting studies. We are offering this role as a 1 year full time fixed term post, with potential for extension. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified radiographer or technologist seeking to gain experience in research support and delivery. The successful candidate will join a flexible and enthusiastic team, and Good Clinical Practice training will be provided. The Radiology Research Coordinator has a key role in the delivery of the operational aspects of research trials. The post holder will maintain documentation for Research in a Quality Management System, Q-Pulse, with the direction and assistance of the Radiology Research Manager. The post holder will assist with the transfer of anonymised imaging to trial sponsors via CD/DVD or Image Exchange Portal (IEP), when applicable. The post holder will assist the Radiology Research Manager with the completion of any pre-trial paperwork for external study sponsors (e.g. surveys or questionnaires) requiring information from Radiology. The post holder will assist Investigators within Radiology or with other Trust RDUs with administrative tasks including, but not limited to, data entry. Coordination of training and research documentation. To liaise with King's Healthcare Partners and with Radiology Leads and Superintendents and organise Good Clinical Practice sessions for Radiology staff. To record Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training in Q-Pulse, the Trust's Management system To transfer anonymised imaging to trial sponsors via CD/DVD or Image Exchange Portal (IEP), when applicable. To direct staff in Access to Imaging group about the processing of CD/DVD's and DICOM transfer of anonymised data for commercial clinical trials. To liaise with Radiology Research Manager to resolve data clarification requests, made by a Sponsor or CRO. To assist the Radiology Research Manager in conducting audits and clinical research including contribution to data management. To assist Investigators within Radiology or with other Trust RDUs with administrative tasks including, but not limited to, data entry. To attend Radiology research related meetings such as the Radiology Research Meeting and meetings for the Radiology Research Advisory Group, to share matters.
