Cornerways Homes Exclusive Benefits:

  • - Year 4 (12 months): £550 + 1 extra annual leave day (8 hours)

  • - Year 10: £1,250

Package:

  • Salary: £22,500 - £24,520 p.a
  • Hours: 24-32 hrs per week + overtime offered (3 / 4 Eight Hour shifts per week)
  • Holidays (FTE): 31 days including Bank holidays

Service Description:

Small EBD Residential Children's Home for children 11-17 years.

Job Purpose:

As a Residential Care Worker, you will work in a small, nurturing EBD Residential Children's Home, providing care and support to children aged 11 to 17 years. You will be an integral part of creating a safe and homely environment where our residents can thrive. By fostering positive relationships and utilising your proactive approach, you will contribute to the well-being and growth of each individual in our care.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum Qualifications and Education: GCSE English or equivalent (Essential), Excellent written English, IT skills
  • NVQ Level 4 or willingness to work towards this within 6 months of commencing employment
  • Experience: Experience working within a childcare setting, experience with traumatised children and those with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
