About the role….

An opportunity has arisen for an Administrator within the Council's Independent Living Service. The service provides aids and adaptations to help people to live independently at home for longer. The role will involve managing and updating client records and databases, helping to prepare reports, funding applications, working as a team and independently, making sure the service is compliant with General Data Protection Regulation, liaison with suppliers and placing orders, scheduling appointments, handling calls and emails with excellent customer service, and invoicing and budget tracking.

You must have knowledge and experience of …

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Previous administrative experience, ideally in a similar sector
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and financial procedures
  • Clerical work and administrative procedures including financial administration.
  • Effective communications skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Monitoring service standards / internal audit activities
  • Problem solving

You must have the following qualifications.

  • English and Mathematics GCSE's at level 4 or above (Grade C or above).
