Job Responsibility:

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant to join our team in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our Centre.

Key Roles:

  • Handling customer enquiries received via the telephone, email and face-to-face in accordance with the service procedures
  • Sales of ammunition, targets & accessories.
  • To present and maintain a professional image to all members and visitors to the facility.
  • Float checks & completion of End of day banking.
  • Maintenance of facilities & equipment, well presented, clean, safe, and always fit for purpose.
  • Handling of firearms and ammunition in accordance with Firearms licensing, policies and procedures.
  • Full training will be given.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

The role will involve evening and weekend shifts and some lone working. Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for someone who would be able to move heavy items & take part in physically demanding tasks safely.

Easy going but a proactive mind set, flexible in terms of tasks and working hours.

Mechanical competence is advantageous.

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week.

This position involves shift work which includes evenings, weekends & possibly Bank Holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £23,400.00 per year
