In September 2024 we will open our new SEMH provision on site, which will provide additional support for up to 15 students.

Job Purpose:

Carry out a range of duties within the Perins classrooms, The Perins Station and work in partnership with classroom teachers.

Provide support for curriculum programmes and guide young people to overcome their barriers to learning. This role assists teachers to create environments where students with extra learning needs can make the most of their education.

Assist in the development of students' learning, the provision of care and the management of students' behaviour under the guidance of teaching staff, senior colleagues, and the pastoral support team.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with empathy and patience and a genuine passion for supporting the wellbeing and development of young people. An understanding of social, emotional and mental health issues affecting young people is essential, along with knowledge of relevant support strategies and interventions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £19,772.00-£22,282.42 per year
