Job Responsibility:

Job SummaryWe are seeking an Optical Assistant to join our team in providing excellent eye care services at Portway Opticians and Dudley Wood Opticians. The ideal candidate will assist optometrists and opticians in delivering high-quality vision care to our patients.

Duties- Assist with frame selection and fitting- Maintain and clean optical equipment and tools- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients- Support the optometrist during eye examinations

- Assisting the Optometrist during Care home and Home visits.

- Flexible to cover and support our other branches in the area when needed.

- Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle for deliveries of frames to patients.

Qualifications- Previous experience in an optical setting is desirable- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities- Ability to work effectively in a team environment- A passion for delivering outstanding patient care

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 24 per week
