Are you looking for a new administration support opportunity in a rewarding role which contributes to changing lives for the better?

As Administrator (Education skills and work) atHMP Peterborough, you'll provide general administration support across several areas within the business performing, part of the role is allocating male and female residents to work and education opportunities daily. The successful candidate will assist in the production of management information, regular reports, establish trends and patterns from information received. There will be no direct prisoner contact.

Salary: £22,818.84 per annum

Working hours:37.5 with a regular Mon-Fri Pattern

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all administrative duties as required by the Manager, ensuring the function is run efficiently and cost effectively when performing work as required and planned.
  • You will work closely and co-operate with colleagues in other areas to ensure the safe and smooth running of the prison.
  • The successful candidate will ensure that allocation referrals replies are ready to be issued daily, having answered those allocations related queries in a clear and consistent manner.
  • Any administration actions will need to be completed accurately and in a timely way and will satisfy all appropriate audit requirements.
  • All male and female residents' attendance is committed on the system daily to ensure that they get the correct pay each week.
  • Residents are processed through the induction correctly and allocated when suitable.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working in a similar environment or role is desirable but not essential.
  • You will need to have experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge to at least intermediate level for Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook Experience of working under pressure and to deadlines
  • Being organising and planning your workload accordable
  • The ability to work part of a team.
