Job Responsibility:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Admin Lead within Moorcroft Medical Centre, within the Primary Care Directorate. Band 4 - £25,147 - £27,596 per annum - 37.5 hours per week, full time. You will offer support and guidance to the admin and clerical staff within the team and offer direct support to the Service Manager. Providing and receiving routine information which may sometimes require tact or persuasive skills to overcome barriers to understanding. This may involve providing and receiving of sensitive or complex information, providing advice, instruction or training where the subject matter is straightforward. In particular this will involve the following responsibilities: Responding to appropriate requests for information Acting on correspondence - responding to, or referring to the appropriate person Providing routine advice on areas of knowledge/expertise, in a manner relevant to the audience and topic area (ie patients, carers, complexity) Liaison with partner services and organisations Preparation/completion of routine documents, including letters, reports, presentations and forms e.g. purchase order requisitions, photocopying, filing Handling telephone queries Assisting patients/clients/relatives with non-clinical advice Teaching and supporting new Admin team members and providing aspects of the team induction and training to new starters regarding the building and admin processes. Particular systems used in this role are detailed under ‘Specialist/Technical requirements'. This may include activities such as: Taking and transcribing formal minutes Producing statistical reports Maintaining information systems Recording messages within the Electronic Patient Record system Disseminating and distributing key information within team Please refer to Job description for full information.
