Job Responsibility:
An opportunity has arisen to join the friendly, busy physiotherapy outpatient service, at Helston community hospital, as a member of Admin and Clerical team. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality care and are committed to living our values in all our work: We are a team of physiotherapists who accept and manage referrals from consultants, GPs, other healthcare professionals and self referral. The main role is to provide administrative cover to a busy outpatient physiotherapy departments along with some patient facing reception duties. The role involves organising clinics, booking and rearranging appointments, sending appointment letters, making and receiving telephone calls and emails to organise appointments, ordering of equipment and office supplies. You will need to be computer literate. You will be required to work using your own initiative within a busy team, with the ability to organise and prioritise work efficiently. You must be able to communicate well and have an adaptable and flexible attitude to your work. Please note this is a 3 month fixed term contract - there is a possibility it may be extended. Responsible for day-to-day administration and clerical support, booking patient appointments and managing clinical diaries. Face to face reception duties for MSK Physiotherapy. Carry out data entry to support the clinical team. Input all data on Rio, registration, activity and triage codes. Photocopying, faxing, scanning, laminating, emailing and shredding.
