What if that person was you? AWE are looking for Technical Administrators Are you a strong Administrator who would like to work in a technical environment? We are recruiting Technical Administrators to support the operation of teams within the AWE Engineering group. Our Technical Administrators support engineers and leadership, enabling them to manage team requirements and deliveries efficiently with accurate data. These roles will require you to carry out a wide range of tasks for several stakeholders, concurrently. Role: Technical Administrators Salary: £24,720 - £28,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience) Closing date: 12th June 2024 Location: Reading Area Why AWE? Key accountabilities and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Management of configuration documentation produced by Engineering teams, supporting them in the creation and/or completion of documents as required
  • Data compilation/co-ordination, report generation and information management (including management of various key metrics, visual management boards, route cards, inventory management and minute taking and presentations)
  • Management of various spreadsheets (e.g. those denoting the status of projects, training, review responses and actions)
  • Printing, binding, filing and control of Drawings, Method Statements, Technical Reports and Design History documentation etc.
  • Support Quality, Safety, Projects, Facility and any other relevant department/programme/project as per business need
  • General administrative duties
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player
  • Additional accountabilities for this job profile may be defined and appointed through the Chief Engineer Management Arrangements
We would like successful candidates to have a strong administrative background, with excellent stakeholder management expertise. We would also like you to be able to demonstrate experience of:
  • Working in an administrative role
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Competence in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
  • Working experience with Sharepoint and MS Teams
Previous experience working in a Manufacturing/Production or Operational environment is preferred but not essential.
