Pharmacy Manager (Independent Prescriber) - London Medical District (W1)

Position Overview:

An exciting new role for an experienced Pharmacy manager preferably with independent prescribing experience to start a new Pharmacy service in the heart of London's Medical District near the world famous Harley Street

The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care, including prescribing and offering clinical advice to patients.

Use your clinical skills to add real value to patients using our home delivery service.

The role will include many aspects of managing patients and coordinating with clinicians using homecare service.

The successful candidate must have proven organizational skills and demonstrate an attention to detail in their work. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the efficient and economical running of the pharmacy homecare service and the management of requests for high cost drugs.

Responsibilities:

Prescribing: Independently prescribe medication within the scope of experience - preferably mental health, rheumatology, sexual health.

Medication Management: Review and optimize medication regimens, including dose adjustments, therapeutic substitutions, and medication reconciliation, to ensure safe and effective treatment outcomes.

Continuing Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacy practice and relevant clinical guidelines through ongoing education and professional development activities.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Pharmacist
• Management experience within a retail pharmacy or comparable private Hospital or NHS trust
• Experience in working in the Private sector preferred but not essential
• Management Qualification or comparable hands-on experience

A good working knowledge of office software packages is desirable

Full Time: 40-45 hours

Salary Range : £55,000 to £65,000 pa
