As a Business Facilities Support Apprentice, you will support the management of the Boeing Training Solutions Campus & the Faraday Road Campus, Crawley. This role reports to the Boeing Global Enterprise Services Business Support Manager & will work under the supervision of the BGES Site Focal.
Duties will include:
Ensure general upkeep of the Training Facility to ensure Customer and employee expectations are met
Providing relevant information to visitors, Welcome packs & recording visitors to site
Manage equipment and general maintenance of meeting rooms to ensure they are at a high standard at all
Ensure proper application and implementation of policies and best practices related to workplace health and safety and business continuity
Implementation of Continuous Improvement principles to ensure we have processes and standards in place that are visible and measurable:
Work closely with the BGES team, in particular the Site Focals including providing remote and/or on-site backup support
Build positive customer relationships, ensuring quality service is provided, by aligning to the Boeing Values
Provide support for the Watchlist screening process to support security requirements for other BGES sites as required
Deliver the Health and Safety Induction to Contractors and Visitors as required
Support the administration of the site Permit to Work System
Conduct & record office safety walks
Keep up to date the emergency contact information for the site and test the emergency scenarios
Office Consumable procurement and management
Management and status updates of monthly metrics
Supporting compliance of Facilities Management delivery by external parties
Purchase requisitions and Invoice management
Inventory & asset management
Management of EHS related training for the on-site team
Support management of Campus expense and capital projects as necessary
You will work closely with internal and external customers and partner with the various Functions and Service Groups/providers.
