Job Responsibility:
GTS Logistics are searching for a new apprentice to assist with their office-based logistics operations. The successful candidate will be fully trained and supported, to grow into the role and reach their full potential. You will gain specialist knowledge, with a competitive starting wage.
Working week
Working between 08.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday.
Total hours per week: 37.5
What you will do in your working day
GTS Logistics is seeking to hire a Traffic Office/Supply Chain apprentice for their office in Anlaby, Hull. It offers a chance to develop diverse skills like problem-solving, communication, organisation, planning, and teamwork.
GTS Logistics, renowned for their forward-thinking approach, is an excellent employer. As our new apprentice, you'll collaborate closely with the planning team and managers, ensuring service integrity, timeliness, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work with the planning team to assist in maintaining good relationships with drivers and other key stakeholders.
· Work towards building a good knowledge of operational processes and compliance surrounding trucks and drivers.
· Support other team members in problem solving, carrying out root cause analysis and driving improvements.
· Learning customs requirements and legislation.
· Continually deliver towards targets and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
· Work towards building a good knowledge of day-to-day equipment for all trucks and drivers.
· Gain an excellent geographical knowledge.
· Assisting with general administrative duties
As an apprentice, you will work from the employer's location and be allocated a Trainer/Assessor who will visit you in the workplace. You will also receive full training and support from the employer's small, friendly team who have a wealth of knowledge in this industry.

- Level 2 Supply Chain Operator
- A bespoke programme of practical, technical and vocational learning
- Functional Skills in maths and English (if applicable)
