Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Honley High School.

Start Date: 2nd September 2024

Working within the Honley High School team is a varied, enjoyable and worthwhile job. We are seeking to expand our administration team to include an Apprentice Administration Officer.

The role would suit someone who is passionate about administration and eager to start or progress their career within a school environment. Entry Level requirements apply which in this case are GCSE Maths and English at level 4 or above, or equivalent. You will be supported and allowed 20% of your time to complete your Apprenticeship. This is delivered by specialist training CMS Vocational Limited and you will be working towards a Level 3 Business Admin qualification.

What the role involves in a nutshell:

  • Assist in the provision of high-quality professional administration support including producing correspondence through email, letter and online
  • Undertake reception duties including supporting visitors and students with day-to-day enquiries
  • Support with the delivery of trips and events including promotion on social media
  • Support with the design and preparation of displays around the school
