Overview
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and driven Accounts and Administration Assistant to enhance and increase the functionality of the Accounts and Admin team
The hope is that the apprentice will allow the functionality of the Accounts/Admin team to increase, that the team will be better covered during leave and that ultimately, they will become an integral member of the team,

- We are a 'clean' manufacturing business that design and assemble bespoke machinery predominately for the food industry
Your Role*
- Capital and spares/service invoicing, credit control & process receipt of funds
- Admin support for Sales Team
- Intercompany invoicing and payments
*
- Process supplier invoices/deal with queries in conjunction with other teams as necessary/process monthly payment run/make payments via electronic payments
- Statement reconciliation
- Admin support for Management Team re monthly payment run
- Ad hoc payments as requested

- Check company accounts on Gov.com re notices/reports to be collected/VAT submission dates etc
- Ensure files are up to date in relation to overseas machine sales

- Maintain personnel files and assist with monthly payroll
- Process and pay employee expenses

- Assist with providing any info requested by our Accountants
- Run finance reports for management team and provide info with regard to such if requested
- Provide admin support to all departments when required/requested
- Bank statement reconciliation
- Deal with email traffic in the shared In Box for the accounts/admin team
- Deal with postal mail
- Answer the telephone
- Future tasks once Apprenticeship course has been started/completed
- Month end process
- VAT returns
- Produce more comprehensive reports for the management team and provide support with regard to them upon request
- Assist with Management Accounts production

- Apprentices are required to have GCSE grades A*-C/9-4 in maths & English
Training to be provided
- Level 3 AAT Apprenticeship
This Apprenticeship will involve:
- Off the job training
- You will also develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours
- You need to have an employer to support your Apprenticeship and be employed in a relevant job role
- The typical length of this Apprenticeship course is 18 months
- This course has multiple start dates throughout the year
