IPRS Aeromed provide expert clinical solutions across a variety of specialist markets and sectors. We major in security-based environments including custody suites of magistrates and crown courts.
Our services are delivered by highly experienced Paramedics and Nurses lead by our in-house Clinical Team.
Position:

We are looking for Paramedicsto join our expanding Paramedic bank team (as self-employed contractors) due to our on-going business growth
Working in Hounslow and various locations in the South of England and overseas
Asa Paramedic working for IPRS Aeromedyou will undertakemedical duties ensuring the health and wellbeing of persons at various locations in the UK and overseas. You will be expected to adhere to JRCALC guidelines and work within the scope of your HCPC registration.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Maintaining an up to date and accurate record of your availability via our online system.
- Responding to assigned tasks via our online system in a timely manner.
- Maintaining good communication and engagement with the IPRS Aeromed Operations team.
- Ensuring your kit and drugs are in date and are satisfactory prior to commencement of duties. And to ensure all items used follow the appropriate auditable trail and documentation.
- Following a clinical handover from the treating clinician, you'll make appropriate judgements regarding ongoing care.
- Measuring and recording baseline observations upon making contact with the individual and at appropriate intervals thereafter.
- Actively promoting the wellbeing of your patient through regular medication as prescribed.
- Treating the individual autonomously in the event of unexpected/unforeseen acute episodes.
- Ensuring that patients are treated with respect, dignity, empathy and patience. Whilst service demands can be high, you'll ensure you always take the time to properly explain procedures and politely support patients at a very stressful time.
- Ensuring that our services are delivered with courtesy and to the highest clinical and professional standards.
- Maintaining clinical objectivity at all times, with the patient's wellbeing in mind.
- Producing accurate medical notes primarily to ensure the provision of ongoing care but also for clinical audit purposes.
- Submitting all administrative paperwork and invoices in line with company procedure.

Qualifications:
>Current registration with HCPC - with no investigations/suspensions current or pending
>Either I.H.C.D. or HE Para.
>Able to demonstrate Continuous Professional Developmentand ALS/ILS competencies
Experience:
> Minimum 3 years post qualification as a HCPC paramedic (E)
> Basic I.T. skills (E)
> Ability to speak fluent English (E)
> Ability to speak languages other than English (D)
> Full driving licence and own reliable transport (E)
> Smart, professional appearance and conduct (E)
> Knowledge and understanding of JESIP (D)
Skills:
> Ability to work actively within a team, but to work without supervision whenever necessary.
> Ability to identify and correct signs and symptoms of a deteriorating patient.
> Clear and concise communication skills, in particular when interacting with a patient.
> Attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately.
> Ability to make appropriate decisions quickly.
> Ability to remain calm and professional if an individual becomes disruptive/aggressive.
Other information:
Hourly pay rate up to £31.50 per hour

Flexible working hours
If successful, you will be required to provide consent for a DBS check and Home Office security clearance check to be carried out prior to you starting
