CATERING SUPERVISOR & COOK

The North Norfolk Railway operates steam and heritage diesel trains through beautiful coastal countryside between the Georgian town of Holt and the smart Victorian seaside resort of Sheringham. The 5½ mile line attracts around 165,000 passengers each year, is one of the County's most popular tourist attractions and hosts a series of popular annual events including the Forties Weekend in September and the acclaimed Norfolk Lights Express in November and December.

We have an exciting opportunity for a well-organised Catering Supervisor & Cook to oversee the small and friendly team that run the buffets at our three stations. The successful candidate will be a proficient cook/baker capable of producing wholesome, traditional and tasty dishes for the popular Station Refreshment Rooms at Sheringham, have the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, be able to demonstrate the necessary organisational skills needed to order ingredients and supplies and be capable of encouraging the catering team.

Opening times include weekends & holiday periods, so rotas will include some weekend & Bank Holiday working. Applications for weekend roles, or from people with full- or part- time availability will be considered.
