Job Responsibility:

The position

Dunkley's is seeking a highly skilled tax consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax law, accounting principles and financial regulations. As a tax consultant you will be responsible for providing expert advice on tax matters whilst developing tax strategies to minimise liabilities and optimize financial efficiency for our clientele. The role will entail providing exemplary client tax advisory and technical support by embedding yourself in the requirement of bespoke tax services.

An outline of the job and what it will entail is stated below:

· Manage on-going HMRC investigations (Such as IR35 cases)

· Business incorporations (mainly property partnership incorporations)

· Capital Gains calculations.

· EMI scheme advice & set-up (including the annual submission of EMI400)

· Company restructures (Such as share transfers, share-for-share exchange, other

company secretarial related tasks)

· Mergers / De-mergers

· IHT planning (involving the advice & set up of Trusts)

· Seeking HMRC clearance on various tax matters

· Provide comprehensive tax planning and advisory services for clients.

· Conduct tax research and stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations of business

decisions and transactions.

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure tax compliance and alignment with overall

business objectives.

· Communicate complex tax concepts clearly and effectively to clients and stakeholders.

About you

· Have a good working knowledge of personal tax, corporate tax, and trusts.

· Be proactive at managing existing client relationships and developing new ones.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities .

· Have the ability to plan and organise workload independently and effectively.

· Proficiency in tax preparation software.

Qualifications

· Be qualified or part qualified in ATT/CTA/ACCA/ACA/AAT
