Job Responsibility:
We are now recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant for our client based in Hull. They are an ambitious and successful company determined by the skill, reliability, and loyalty of their people who they believe are their greatest assets and who provide outstanding service to their customers.
Duties
- Input and process purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
- Match invoices to purchase orders and ensure discrepancies are resolved
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations
- Investigate and respond to supplier queries and payment requests
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve any purchase ledger queries
- Operate the purchase invoices logging, distribution, and authorization system
- Maintain the purchase ledger inbox, ensuring timely responses and actions
- Review and maintain purchase ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
Skills
- Proven experience in a purchase ledger role
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building abilities
- Ability to proactively solve problems and work independently
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £23,500.00-£24,500.00 per year
