Systems Analyst

£32,000 to £47,000 plus benefits (Work Level 6A)

Manchester city centre, hybrid

We're looking for a Systems Optimisation Analyst to join us and help us make sure our Supply Chain is working as effectively as possible. In this role you'll work in a hybrid way, splitting your time between home and the office. You'll work 5 days over 7, working at least 6 weekends a year (find out more about our hybrid working policy at coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).

In this role, you'll work with teams and partners across supply chain, making sure that our colleagues are able to optimise how business users operate, leverage the benefits of the SAP system, and gain knowledge and understanding of the system set up and ways of working. We'll look to you to model the impact of proposed changes, recommending and implementing appropriate solutions to achieve specific goals across the supply chain.

What you'll do

  • Make sure that a cycle of model, test, track, and review takes place to optimise system set up and company control factors
  • Encourage new ways of working to continuously improve the way stores are replenished for key activity such as range events and promotions
  • Lead a successful team of admins, helping them to manage change
  • Look for opportunities to continuously improve systems within the category
  • Build strong internal relationships, creating networks to seek out opportunities
  • Be responsible for demand influencing factors (DIF) effectiveness, making sure they're being utilised appropriately in demand management and model the impact of proposed changes
  • understand how we use the system to replenish stores so that we understand how to safely reduce or increase volumes

This role would suit people who have

  • The ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, understand root cause, measure performance, and recommend the appropriate course of action
  • Experience of SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Good people management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge and lead a successful team
  • Experience of creating reports using Microsoft Excel
  • An understanding of FMCG operating model
