Pastry Commis Chef, Culinary

SHIFT PATTERN (40 hours, 5 days per week)

We're looking for a Pastry Commis Chef to join our vibrant and dynamic Culinary team.

As a Pastry Commis Chef at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, you will be responsible for:

  • Adhering the MOHG food safety policy and apply the company food safety program all time.
  • Being fully aware of designated section menu, recipes, method of production and presentation standards
  • Executing all food items with standard recipe and plating guide as devised by Head Pastry Chef or Pastry Sous Chef.
  • Receiving and storing goods with the company food safety standard, stock rotation, FIFO and correct date labelling.
  • Operating all kitchen equipment and conduct them with safety in mind at all the times.

As a Pastry Commis Chef, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, evening, and night shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
