Shift Patterns: 08:00-16:00 Mon-Fri

You will be responsible for the management of the Audiological Services, including Paediatric Audiology, Adult Audiology and those with complex needs including learning difficulties in relation to all aspects of its operational performance and strategic development.

What you can add:

· Provide advanced clinical, scientific and technical input to complex patients within a subspecialist area of Audiological expertise (e.g., paediatric, adult rehabilitation, balance, and or diagnostic services).

· Responsible for leading the Hearing and Balance services' portfolio to ensure the department remains efficient and up to date with its service provisions.

· Hold and manage Hearing and Balance Services' budgets and develop service specifications to enable contracts to be drawn up with future purchasers of services within and outside the Trust.

· Take responsibility for waiting lists for all aspects of audiological services and lead efforts to reduce and maintain them at as low levels as reasonable within available resources.

· Undertake, as required, the full range of advanced audiological diagnostic assessments, including advanced audio-vestibular testing.

· Independently select and perform appropriate hearing investigations and provide advice, diagnosis and treatment options to patients and GPs, offering referral to other specialities where appropriate. To counsel patients regarding their hearing difficulties.

What you'll need:

· MSc. in Audiological Sciences.

· Successfully attained the Scientist Training Programme (or equivalent e.g., CAC, HTS).

· Relevant post-graduate Healthcare Management/Leadership Qualifications.

· Proven experience of full accountability and responsibility for all aspects of a clinical audiology services, regional and tertiary service.

· RCCP and/or HCPC registration.
