Job Description

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for Logistics and Supply Chain Management? Look no further! We are thrilled to announce our graduate programme in Logistics, designed to provide you with a comprehensive hands-on experience in the dynamic world of transportation and warehousing operations.

Programme Overview

Our two year rotational graduate programme in Logistics offers you the opportunity to gain exposure to various aspects third party logistics through a series of structured rotations. You will have the chance to work alongside experienced professionals, tackle real world logistics challenges, and contribute to impactful projects.

This programme is designed to accelerate your professional growth, enhance your skill set, and provide you with a holistic understanding of transportation, central functions and distribution operations.

Intake September 2024

Working shift patterns may change throughout the programme, you may be required to work weekends or nights when required.

Key Features:

  • Rotations - You will complete two twelve month rotations across different areas of transportation, central functions and distributions, such as warehousing, transport management, finance and commercial. This will allow you to gain a comprehensive understanding of our operations and identify your areas of interest and expertise.
  • Mentorship - Throughout your programme, you will be paired with a dedicated mentor who will provide guidance, support and valuable insights into the industry. Mentors are experienced professionals who are committed to helping you succeed and grow in your logistics career.
  • Training and development - We believe in investing in our employees' growth and development. You will have access to a wide range of training programmes and workshops focused on logistics best practises, strategies, technology solutions and leadership development.
  • Networking Opportunities - As part of our Graduate rotational programme, you will have the chance to connect with professionals from various departments and levels within our organisation. This will enable you to build a strong professional network within the logistics industry and gain exposure to different perspectives and career paths.
  • Performance and Evaluation - We believe in recognising and rewarding talent. Throughout the program, your performance will be regularly evaluated, providing you with valuable feedback and opportunities for growth. Outstanding performers may be offered permanent positions within our organisation upon completion of the program.
Qualifications
  • Recent graduate with a bachelor's or master's degree
  • Strong academic record and a genuine interest in transportation and distribution operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to work effectively in teams
  • Analytical mind-set and problem solving abilities
  • Flexible and adaptability to thrive in a fast paced logistics environment
  • A valid UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
  • Flexible to relocate with potential travel
