The Role

Job Title HR & Training Co-ordinator

You will be working as part of a small HR Team providing support across the whole employee lifecycle. We're looking for an individual with a genuine desire to seek improvements in the way we do things with the potential to grow and develop in this fast paced business.

The Role

· Drive a positive new starter experience from initial onboarding to the end of the probationary period, leading induction training, embedding brand values and company culture.

· Work with managers to identify training needs and co-ordinate a developing matrix of training events and activities.

  • Respond to general queries promptly, providing guidance and coaching to teammates in adherence to company policy, employment legislation and best practices.
  • Support line managers with people management issues, attendance and performance issues, probationary period and performance plan maintenance, recommending appropriate actions and ensuring these are carried out.
  • Share feedback and coaching to line managers to improve.
  • Collaborate with managers where appropriate to develop team members through competency framework development and career planning.
  • Co-ordinate and identify opportunities to develop Apprenticeship Scheme activities.
  • Co-ordinate annual performance and KPI objective setting processes.
  • Identify skill building training activities to support line managers and operatives to excel in their roles.
  • Take a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement.
  • Maintenance of the HR software - HR Toolkit and employee life-cycle maintenance.
  • Support with HR project work as needed
  • Ensure the moments that matter to all teammates are managed well - do the ordinary extraordinarily well.

1. Part/fully qualified CIPD

2. Confident to deliver training on a one-to-one or small workshop basis

3. Highly organised and excellent verbal and written skills

4. Proficiency in HR software and MS Office applications

5. Able to work onsite and collaborate with teammates at Protein Works' HQ, Monday to Thursday (opportunities to work from home on Fridays)

Desirables

1. HR experience ideally gained within the Ecommerce industry

2. Previous training delivery / L&D experience
