Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Fleet Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe collection and delivery of Trust vehicles, primarily from Trust locations to workshops and repairers. This role requires flexibility with start and finish times and the ability to work beyond normal working hours when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate vehicle-specific information to internal and external workshop staff.
• Deliver and collect Trust vehicles between Trust sites and external agents.
• Undertake extended road tests of vehicles to ensure they are ready for use.
• Perform basic vehicle checks and inspections according to Trust policy.
• Report any defects identified during collection, delivery, or road testing.
• Maintain records, such as vehicle daily checks and timesheets, both paper-based and electronic.

Qualifications:

• GCSE qualifications or equivalent in literacy and numeracy (Essential)
• Current full and valid driving license for classes B, C1, D1 with a maximum of 3 points (Essential)

Skills and Knowledge:

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to liaise with staff and managers at all levels within the Trust and external organizations
• Good telephone manner and ability to manage high volumes of work
• Ability to work independently, using initiative when appropriate
• Knowledge of vehicle operations and basic vehicle checks (Desirable)

Experience:

• Experience in a customer service environment (Essential)
• Previous fleet or vehicle sector experience (Desirable)
