We are a performing arts company based in West Yorkshire. We currently run two theatre schools and teach workshops within schools.

Job description

Northern Arts Factory are looking for a motivated, friendly and talented drama teacher who is confident in delivering drama to preschool and primary aged children. Initially we need someone to deliver some after school sessions and cover but these hours may increase. There is also potential to join our educational team and work delivering drama in local schools.

  • You need to be reliable, trustworthy, energetic and passionate about the arts.
  • You must enjoy working alongside younger children.
  • You will be responsible for some planning and all delivery of the classes.
  • You will be responsible for the running of the classes and safety of the children within each group.
  • You will need to embrace the ethics of Northern Arts Factory and ensure you remain professional at all times.
  • You must be able to communicate clearly and liaise with families.
  • You should have previous experience of teaching drama.
  • Be a team player and willing to work with others.
  • Be adaptable and creative.
  • Be committed to the agreed hours.
  • Have an up-to-date DBS certificate.

Hourly Rate will be dependent on experience and support required.
